The purpose of the project is to support the extension of renewable energy in India by implementing large-scale Solar PV Power plants in the state of Maharashtra.
Project work was carried out by various following companies. Mahagenco (utility) as a client set up the project. The power connection to the 220 kV grid line was setup by Mahatransco und Mahadiscom takes care for the erection of the 33 kV power evacuation lines from project site to the 220 kV switchyard.
The project was installed under Public Private Partnership scheme including 25 years of operation and maintenance of the plant. Clean Sustainable Solar energy private limited is a PPP (public private partnership) to whom Mahagenco has issued a letter of award to setup the 50 MWp grid interactive Solar power plant in Baramati (India).
