Development of construction guideline for Solar PV rooftop in Indonesia
Objectives
Following the three specific roof types in Indonesia, a construction guideline was needed in order to explain in detail selection, planning, installation and maintenance of PV on rooftops. Focussed on the categories inclined roof, flat roof and metal roof aspects like connection and building static issues had to be considered.
Based on these specific results, WOLLNY CONSULTING developped a general ‘best practise’ guideline describing in general selection, planning, installation and maintenance of solar PV on rooftops. As a third step, a case study is planned to analyse the industrial solar PV rooftop potential in a selected industrial area in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Technical data survey and energy audit for Siantan Villages
Objectives
WOLLNY CONSULTING supported the preparation and implementation for an energy audit for the Siantan village(s). Furthermore the team gave advice on the socio-economic assessment of the Siantan village(s) in order to prepare the energy audit report and gave recommendation on possible RE solutions/models with storage technology.

Project: Rural Electrification program
Project definition:
Study on successes and failures in previous programs and applications in rural electrification in Indonesia
Objectives
How efficient are rural electrification programs in Indonesia? What can be done to improve them? The overarching aim of the work of WOLLNY CONSULTING was the contribution to the long term sustainability of public and private investments in different approaches for rural electrification in Indonesia, focussed on renewable energies.
WOLLNY CONSULTING was asked for a recommendation on the improvement potentials and an evaluation of the Indonesian electrification programs for non-electrified regions implemented between 2005 and 2013. Our team made a quantitative and qualitative overview on the technical economic and management outcomes. Based on these results, the suitable improvement recommendations were given to the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Sources MEMR.
