Michael Wollny (Founder and Managing Director)
Founder and Managing Director Michael Wollny has more than 25 years international experience in the off-grid business sector. After 10 years working at the Institut für Solare Energieversorgungstechnik e.V., Kassel (now Fraunhofer IEE), he moved to SMA Solar Technology AG, the leading manufacturer of PV inverter and system solutions.
For more than 13 years he was leading the the off-grid sales and business development activities at SMA. In this position he managed several projects and world-wide activities.
Up today, co-heading the German commitee group “PV Export / Rural Electrification” of the Bundesverband Solarwirtschaft (BSW-Solarwirtschaft e.V. in Berlin). He was Vice President of the international business association “Alliance for Rural Electrification” (Brussels) focused on the promotion and development of off-grid and distributed renewable energy solutions in developing countries.
Furthermore, he has experience as lecturer and moderator for workshops, seminars and conferences. Until 1988 he studied at the University of Kassel and Berlin and holds a diploma in ”Measure and Control".

With more than 16 years experience in the field of marketing and product communication within the solar energy business, Christiane Keim is responsible for all tasks regarding marketing and public relations at WOLLNY CONSULTING.
